        The IoTouch Core Promise: We believe that data privacy is the ultimate form of Freedom. Your environmental measurements are your property. We provide the tools to monitor and measure; you provide the mastery of how that data is used.
      

1. Data Sovereignty

Unlike traditional "Cloud-First" IoT companies, IoTouch is built on a "Local-First" architecture. Your Gateway processes all sensor data within your own network. You have the Mastery to decide if and when that data ever leaves your building.

2. What We Collect

To provide our services, we only collect what is strictly necessary:

Account Information: Name and email for portal access and subscription management.
System Metadata: Hub health status to ensure your "Brain" is functioning correctly.
Sensor Data (Optional): Only if you choose an Expansion or Professional tier, we securely sync your history to the IoTouch Cloud for remote access.

3. Freedom to Export

You are never locked in. One of our core values is the Freedom to take your data elsewhere. You can export your entire history in CSV or JSON formats directly from the Portal at any time.

4. Security Measures

We use enterprise-grade encryption for all data in transit. Our UK-based engineering team regularly audits our Gateway firmware to ensure your local network remains your private fortress.

5. Your Rights (GDPR)

As a UK-engineered company, we fully adhere to GDPR standards. You have the right to access, rectify, or delete your data at any moment. For any data-related inquiries, please contact our Data Protection Officer.
